During our Regular Season (March 1 through November 30), the South Union Shaker Village is open for tours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday - Saturday and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sundays (Central Time). The last tour begins 45 minutes before closing. The Village is closed Thanksgiving Day. The Village is CLOSED on MONDAYS year round
During Winter Hours (December 1 through February 28), the South Union Shaker Village is open for tours from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Tuesday-Saturday (Central Time). The last tour begins 45 minutes before closing. The Village is closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

School Tours
The South Union Shaker Village offers a wide range of tours and activities for school groups of all ages. Cost is $4 per student, with teachers and bus drivers free. We offer two tours; Civil War Program (March 21-May 13) and Christmas Dinner 1911 (Dec. 6-16). Please call us at 1-800-811-8379 to make reservations. Group Tours
The South Union Shaker Village offers a wide range of tours and activities for groups of all ages. Please call us at 1-800-811-8379 for tour prices and to make reservations. Groups of 12 or more are also invited to make lunch or dinner reservations at the 1869 Shaker Tavern Bed & Breakfast.
